Next month, it’s time for the Christy Awards in Nashville! You can see all of the fantastic finalists here, or on the Christy Awards Instagram account, but here at Bethany House, we like to celebrate upcoming awards with a giveaway of our finalists for readers who might not be able to walk down the red carpet and join the celebration. Best Book That Enriched My Soul
Best Place/Setting To Visit book award
How about the “Best Tear-Jerker Award”? I love stories that make me cry. (I’m imagining the award could either be something silly like an engraved box of tissues – obviously not the usual cardboard type – or some sort of painting of Jesus wrapping his arms around a writer hunched over her desk, face buried in her hands as she’s poured out her heart to touch others.) I’d love to receive this award. Only I’m sure I would cry too much to speak.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter this giveaway!

Best Dressed Cover Characters
(Or: Most Accurate Cover Models Based On/Using The Actual Character Description From the Actual Book They’re On The Cover Of. But that’s a bit of a mouthful, so we’ll stick with Best Dressed.)
I think The Most Spiritually Uplifting book award would be good.🙂. I say this because before I discovered Christian books I struggled with finding clean books to read. I discovered Janette Oke’s book Love Comes Softly many years ago in an Eckerd’s drugstore on a round rack of books. I purchased it solely on the cover and went home and devoured the book. That one book touched my heart and led me to find many more Christian authors and has given me many hours of good, clean reading filling my hunger for God’s word in fiction and non-fiction. Bethany House has for many, many years been one of my favorite publishing companies.❤️
